Certified translation of handwritten documents



Although rare, every once in a while we are required to provide certified translations of handwritten documents, which can be a challenge. Among the handwritten documents are birth, marriage and death certificates, medical reports, medical prescriptions, hospital records, personal letters, and even Court rulings.

If you do have a handwritten document that you require translation, we ask that you submit the original document, plus the typed text of the document in the original language. This will be compared to the original document, and the translation based on the two documents.

If you are unable to read the original document, illegible portions will be referred as "illegible" on the translation.
